Yong's Alterations & Cleaners is a highly recommended business known for excellent alterations and cleaning services. Customers appreciate the amazing customer service and the skilled staff, particularly Kimberly, who is exceptional at alterations. Many have noted that she provides custom-fit adjustments for clothing, with clients expressing satisfaction in how well their suits fit after her work. Alterations, including hemming Orslow jeans and bridesmaid dresses, are done perfectly, often on quick turnarounds.
With a busy schedule, clients are advised to allow sufficient time for services, though many have found that urgent requests can also be accommodated. Many have been repeat customers for years, consistently receiving great results for dresses, pants, suits, and more. One customer was amazed when a wedding dress with a large pink stain was restored to perfect condition after being cleaned. Yong's is recognized for being polite, professional, and very skilled in the trade. It's noted that Kimberly works nonstop and gets busy during the summer with proms and weddings, making it a great place in Arvada for alterations. Many clients consider themselves lifetime customers.
The sweetest, kindest most friendly souls! They helped me with a SUPER rush alteration on two pairs of jeans and they did such a wonderful job. Whereas other shops can be rude or not even answer the phone altogether or just wanting to do a cheaper, easier fix, these ladies did it right and with smiling faces! 10/10 I just found my new tailor 🥳
My alterations here always turn out well, even my weird special requests like lengthening jeans pockets. Not the best for fast turnaround though, as two weeks is the usual quoted turnaround time, and often Kimberly then needs an additional few days or week to actually finish. But Yong’s is still a great option compared to some other nearby alterations shops who do much poorer work.
I've used Yong's a couple of times for alterations for myself and husband. They've pulled through on tight timelines and it's always high quality work. Id highly highly recommend them to anyone!
