Unfortunately, I don't know how well Shelley does ones taxes. I do know you shouldn't even bother finding out if you're not an existing client. I was referred here and called ahead of the tax deadline for an appointment and was told she was booked and going on vacation in May and to call back around memorial day for an appointment. I called back today and was told she was all booked and they didn't know when she would have an appointment. Seemed very strange but the message is clear, they don't want new clients.

The polished interior of the business office was impressive but we discovered that was "smoke and mirrors". After preparing our taxes and filing electronically, we received a letter from Oregon Department of revenue that our figures were off. the sweet receptionist assured us Shelly would return our calls ( note the plural "CALLS") regarding the errors she made. Well that DIDN'T happen . We ended up driving to the office. fast forward to Tax day (April 18) and Oregon withdrew THREE times the amount from my bank account. Phones calls go out to Shelly again to which the sweet receptionist informed us : " Oh Sorry Shelly is gone for a month". How convenient . Not only will we not return to Abbot next year, but we will tell "Yelp" and many others that, after taking a huge fee for services , services were NOT rendered. my wife and I feel cheated by this company. Not even as much as an apology is coming forth for gross calculating errors. We are retired on a fixed income and we were taken advantage of. If I could I would not even give one star.
