Marisa is incredible. I have long, thick 2B/2C hair and she listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me a perfect layered cut, and an awesome blow dry style at the end. I would highly recommend her to anyone with curly hair! Everything was fairly priced, salon was super clean and comfortable! Great experience.
Marisa Martinez!! I have been going to Marisa for 10 years, but she relocated to Yucaipa and I live in the city of Orange. The distance did not affect my decision to follow her and it's well over an hour. Marisa is amazing! She is so talented!!!! I am very picky about who does my hair but Marisa never disappoints. I'll share in this review that I had major surgery and was in a hospital bed 24/7 for a while. I had 5 inches of virgin regrowth on the top, I had silvery white regrowth on the top of my head and the back was dark. I was so distressed by lying on my hair that I asked the nurse to just cut my ponytail off. Marisa knew exactly what to do. She not only blended the top color with the back, but she did keratin K tips on the sides because nurses are not hairdressers and there were a lot of holes in my haircut. When I told her what had happened, she knew before I even arrived what she was going to do. I could not be happier. Unfortunately, we didn't take before and after pics so I'm going to post the pic I took at home. Marisa, thank you for giving me confidence and hair love. No matter the distance I will continue with Marisa because she is excellent. intuitive smart funny and an absolute pleasure to spend time in her chair. Thank you again, Marisa!! I'll see you at my next appointment. If you don't go to Marisa or at least give her a try, you will not know what you are missing. Thank you again Marisa. I'll see you in a month.
Wild Roots Hair Co. is absolutely amazing! I have spent years looking for a lgbtq+ friendly salon and am so happy to have landed here. The stylists are amazing and very good at understanding exactly what you’re looking for! Absolutely will be coming back soon!
