Dr Heyman at Old Towne Optometry is my HERO! She came in on her day off and opened her office to take a look at my son’s irritated eye. When she saw the piece of sand embedded in his cornea she immediately got him the help he needed, reassured him as they poked and cleaned his eye, gave him pain relief drops and followed up the next morning to ensure he was not in any pain. Her willingness to put his care and comfort first, to reassure him throughout the process and to help me understand what was happening made a very scary experience much less traumatic. Thank you for the loving care you provide Dr. Heyman! We are forever grateful!
