After reading reviews and looking at pictures, I was all-in to revive my curls. After hearing the price, I went into a little bit of a shock as I've never paid what I was quoted for getting my hair done. So, I told her what I wanted and decided I would trust her completely. One of the best decisions I've made for my hair. I told her I was open. And, she still included me in the plan, asked permission, explained the process, was very professional, and thought of EVERYTHING a client may want or need to feel comfortable and taken care of. Prior to finding Kristen I was at my wits end with my hair. My ends were dry, sparse and stringy with no shape. My color was over processed with evidence of breakage. I did a search on Instagram for curly hair specialists as I began to realize my hair was delicate and people were treating it as if it were straight hair. I really felt hopeless. We had recently moved ( active duty navy) and it was a year into covid. After scrolling through Kristen's feed of "before and after" photos I felt hopeful that she may be what I needed all along in a stylist. I have fine wavy/curly hair. Kristen is a wonderful stylist..she went through all the steps to create a beautiful style and cut that suited me perfectly.This was my first visit , she really wanted me to be happy and took her time to be able to see exactly what she had to do to my hair in order to bring out the curl.She took her time and explained every product and the reason she was using it on my hair. I took notes to be able to recreate her masterpiece....because when I arrived my hair was NOT looking its best... at the end of the session she had transformed it.I plan on making Kristen my go to stylist from now on.

A curly hair expert, Kristen is an artist when it comes to curls, cuts, and color. Kristen began her curl journey in 2007, taking her first Deva class which ignited a passion for working with curly hair. Because of her passion for creating gorgeous curly hair styles, she became certified with Deva, Curly Hair Artistry, studied with Innersense Organic Beauty, became certified in Rëzocuts level 1+ Rëzolites and completed her advanced Rëzo level 2 hair cutting certification. Kristen loves working with color and has studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Redken NYC, Wella, Goldwell and Kenra to name a few. “The goal for me is to help my clients look and feel like the absolute BEST, most beautiful version of themselves, every single day.”
