EZ Plans did a great job walking us through the full process, which was our first experience with construction ever. Our situation was more complicated than usual due to our relatives (the future residents) living 2,000 miles away on the east coast. Our architect did an amazing job funneling our communications and fitting multiple wishlists into a single cohesive product. We start construction this month!
We chose to work with EZ Plans to create our architectural design for an upcoming remodel. We did run into some bumps with regard to their office being Los Angeles based and our home being in San Diego which has different codes and regulations. Also doing this long distance created some communication gaps with regard to the design creation. Overall, we love the design though and landed on the right aesthetic. Our favorite part of working with the firm was when it came time to interview contractors and the assistance we received from Cindy who met with them with us, reviewed their submissions, gave us advice and helped us a lot.
EZ Plans was exceptional from start to finish. They supported us through the creation of construction documents for a 900 sq. ft. home expansion and a 900 sq. ft. ADU. Pilar, our assigned architect, delivered a design that far exceeded our original vision and truly elevated the overall project.
Throughout the entire process, the EZ Plans team was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Their guidance and attention to detail made what could have been a complex process feel smooth and manageable.
