Services include hot towel shaves, beard shape-ups, ear and nose waxing, and haircuts for adults and kids. The shop is known for its consistent, quality service. The barbers are veterans with great attention to detail, delivering tight, clean, and crispy fades. Communication and professionalism stand out from start to finish. The environment is friendly, relaxed, and good for all, with a bright and clean space featuring lots of TVs. The vibe is relaxed with good conversation. They mainly use appointments and are punctual with timing, but they also service walk-ins. Parking is easy. It is a little pricier than some places, but you get what you pay for in quality. Many clients highly recommend it as one of the best barbershops around.
No Kidding, Able the Hairblenderr probably gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had!

Modern Classics Barbershop is one of if not the best shop in Whittier. The communication and attention to detail is what really stands out, and the professionalism shows from start to finish. The shop is always clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the conversation is good without feeling forced. If you’re looking for a consistent, quality barbershop, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.
This place is hands down one of the best barbershops in the Whittier area. You can tell these guys are veterans in the blending game. My low fade always comes out crispy as hell. Genuinely the attention to detail is top shelf. The barber shop itself is bright and clean with lots of TVs. More importantly, this place sticks to their appointment times, which I personally love. They mainly go by appointments, but have seen walk in come in and get serviced as well. Parking is easy so that's a plus. I bring my 4 year old son with me now, they leave us both looking fresh and the kiddo walks out with a lollipop and looks forward to getting his cut. Highly recommend this place.
