My Granddaughter was assessed in June of 2025. After many phone calls of inquiry we were called back on Jan. 22nd, 2026. They said they had been waiting for governmental approval. We told them we were available anytime. They said, “great,” they would get back to us. We have yet to hear from them.
I was waitlisted for almost one year to have my child assessed for social skills therapy. He was assessed and denied. They wanted him to begin with floortime first. Waitlisted for that as well for about 4 months. Took them mom's to return the results of that assessment for floortime. Fast forward we finally start ft. Approved for 30 hours but only receiving 16 a month. Two hour sessions twice a week. The "therapist" assigned had zero experience with kids. He lacked socially and no creativity at all. I couldn't take another session after almost two months so I then requested for a new person. She was a lot better but for some reason she wouldn't use the toys and equipment in my home. These sessions were in home by the way. She would also cancel on a weekly basis with less than a 10 minute notice claiming she was sick. At the rate we were going we weren't going any make progress at all. There were moments where she would try then give up quick. But the fact she was usually a no show was frustrating. We worked with her for 3 months. Probably only getting 6 hours a month since she wouldn't show up and she would arrive late and leave early. My biggest issue is as that they make you sign an attendance policy but wouldn't honor it themselves. I think this place removed all their negative reviews they had earlier because I no longer see them posted. The reason I was working with them is because the regional center was paying for it.
I’m an autistic adult and was immediately saddened to learn from their website that they offer ABA Therapy.ABA therapy is literal abuse towards our community, with an estimated 8/10 autistic adults who have been through it receiving a PTSD diagnosis.I understand this place has other therapies to offer as well but ABA needs to be completely eradicated.
