Having Whitethorn Construction Supply is such an asset to our community. They not only sell building materials and hardware, they also host other businesses that are essential for the community on their campus like a cafe, print shop, hair salon and tax office.
It’s the only place within a 25 min radius where you can buy lunch, pick up a few tools, get a gift for someone from the art gallery and go for a walk around a pond in the same area.
This beautiful, family-run place is worth visiting and staying a while plus everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming.

The review is for the retail store and the guys at the lumber shop.Jordan, Elijah and Jim really know their stuff! And the "stuff" there is jaw dropping! Gorgeous slabs, custom furniture pieces and collectibles that you won't find anywhere else! Really nice guys who were quick to help with an ongoing project. Prices are fair, too. The lumber yard is only open on Mondays and Fridays, but the retail store is open every day except Sundays. Don't miss this place on the road to Shelter Cove!
