I had a deep dental cleaning by dental hygienist An, she did very well job. The only thing I don’t understand is that my mom is taking plavix, and they require a letter approved from her primary doctor for deep cleaning. Omg, even you gonna have dental implant procedure or big surgery, you won’t need an approved letter from your primary doctor because you are on blood thinners! As a dentist or surgeon, your knowledge will guide you to instruct your patient to hold off blood thinners medication for 4 to 5 days. Unless you have generic blood disorder or so.
