Nail and hair salon in one - good prices and Tammy did a great job with my haircut. I showed her the inspo photo and she recreated it to fit my hair best! They are very kind and welcoming here and the decor is so fun

We were heading to Seafood Cove 2 to eat dimsum when we walked past this place. Didn't even look like a beauty salon. Peering in from the outside it looked like an old runned down tacky Vietnamese hair salon. But my toes needed a pedicure and I was wondering where to go that was cheap since I just needed cuticles clean and fresh polish no other bells and whistles. Saw the yelp reviews rave about Mr Ut and his hair cutting skills so I called and Mr Ut answered and said pedicure is $15 which includes massage too. When I finally went back yesterday a little Vietnamese woman did my pedicure and wasn't super chatty which I appreciated because I was focusing on Mr Ut (he wears a hat and has the cordless phone attached to him) cutting hair from my nail spa chair. He made both older men and women look younger after their cuts. I asked the lady helping me if all the good reviews on yelp about Mr Ut are true and she said yes he's been cutting hair for over 20 years and even her own mom goes to him. I asked how much he charges for a haircut and she said for long hair like mine with wash too would be $17. Too bad I just got mine, regret not coming here for both pedicure and cut!!!

So Chu Ut is very good in styling and cutting hair, and the price is unbeatable. You can find no other place around Bolsa still have $12 women cut. I have been with this salon for about 10 years already and they still have not raised the price yet. Very good service since all the stylists are super friendly. If you decide to come late (around 5-6pm) make sure you call ahead of the time so they can wait for you. Recommended!
