I contacted five different ceramic coating shops in Orange County and ultimately chose Bush Detailing, and I’m extremely glad I did.

I’ll admit that I was initially hesitant to go with Bush Detailing and Thuan because there were relatively few reviews at the time. However, what quickly set him apart was his clear, concise communication, his honesty, and the transparency with which he explained his services and pricing.

At first, I was discouraged by the initial quote of $1,800. Rather than leaving it there, Thuan followed up and asked why I hadn’t booked. He then explained that the quote was for a seven-year ceramic coating, and that he also offered different levels of coating. He presented a three-year ceramic coating option for $500, which included a three-year guarantee—if the coating failed during that time, he would reapply it at no charge. He also provided a detailed, step-by-step list of exactly what would be done to my car, which gave me a lot of confidence.

Thuan was punctual, sent appropriate reminders, and was extremely easy to work with. It’s immediately obvious that he is deeply passionate about his craft and genuinely takes pride in his work. He is meticulous and detail-oriented, almost to the point of being consumed by the finer details of automotive detailing—and that’s exactly what you want.

He used ionized water, a foam gun, and high-quality microfiber towels to ensure that no scratches were introduced during washing. He then clay-barred the vehicle, used acid treatment to remove brake dust from the wheel wells, applied a deoxidation cream to correct sun damage, and hand-polished the entire car to eliminate swirl marks before applying the ceramic coating.

The entire process took nine hours, with Thuan working all day on my vehicle. The result was absolutely stunning—a mirror-like shine with not a single swirl mark or scratch visible. He went above and beyond, carefully applying the ceramic coating behind the license plate, behind the gas cap, inside the door jambs, and even applied a special ceramic coating to the windows.

What truly set Bush Detailing apart, though, was what happened one week later. Thuan returned to my home—at no additional cost—to personally teach me how to properly hand-wash the car, which soaps and chemicals to use, and how to safely dry it using microfiber towels. During this visit, he also applied an additional ceramic sealant to enhance the shine even further.
