I had the best experience here, at first my appt was very far out but I kept calling every morning to see if there were any cancellations and there was. I went in and the facility is extremely nice it looks like a spa in there. Everything is very new and fancy. They told me to arrive @8:30 for my 8:45 appt which I did. I finished the paperwork and was called on at 8:40. The technician doing my ultrasound was extremely professional and I appreciate her. She made sure I was comfortable the whole way through and told me everything that was going in. The front desk staff were also very friendly and efficient. I would recommend coming here to everyone!
The facilities are pristine and the staff are friendly and professional. The waiting room of the women's imaging center is beautifully furnished, it looks like a spa waiting room. The only issue is the frequency of available appointments.
I'm not complaining about the facility as I love going there for my mammograms. I love the staff and the facility, but this review isn't about the staff or facility. This morning i made my appointment for my mammogram and got in within 2 months in Nov. (today is 9/20/23). Then I called back to make an appointment for a Dexa bone scan and I was told the next appointment was in June 2024, 9 months later? It's hard to believe that many people are getting bone scans, but I guess they are. Is there only 1 person who does these scans? If you're really that busy, then maybe you need more staff. I called a small well known Radiology group and I was able to get in next week but I chose the week after. They're always busy, and they don't work on weekends. What's the deal with UCLA Woman's Center.
