Sam and his crew did a great job on our rerooof and gutters. He is old school in the best sense of the phrase. From the hand written estimate, to showing up on the job site and timely communication - he walked the talk. He is very detail orientated. For example, he is the only contractor out of the 8 bids I received to point out my vent screens were painted over and should be replaced which he did as part of the bid. I'm kind of a detailed guy myself and he was very accommodating on my own venting plan, blowing in some insulation. He has a great rapport with his crew. A happy crew does great work! His final pricing was very fair, the extras were all reasonably priced.

Sam came and measured our old roof and was upfront that a roof this old would reveal some surprises. His bid was fair, with room allowed for hidden damage. The team that came was extremely hard working and made quick work of the tear off. I was impressed how complete their clean up was and have only found one nail the crew missed.Each day the crew found damaged structural sections that they expertly repaired and replaced using some impressive workmanship. The roof was 30 years old and apparently was not the original roof. I've only owned the house for 10 years but at the time I bought it the inspector said it would probably need to be replaced in 10 years. Got three estimates. Two from small business and one from a large entity. Kennedy came in the middle. Sam came over, walked to roof and gave me his bid. We both knew extra work would be need once the roof was torn off. The prior roof was not installed properly thus leading to rot at the gutter line. He gave me a cost estimate for the extra work. The final cost was in line with his bid plus the extra work.
