UC San Diego Health Cancer Services – Vista

Today I had to get an iron infusion at UCSD Health, Vista. While I was feeling a bit down and initially nervous about the appointment (iron supplements tend to make me physically ill), within the first 5 minutes of being there, I knew I was in incredibly good hands with the compassionate and welcoming nursing staff.

Nurse Sheera and Nurse Lorena deserve a standing ovation (and a raise *cough cough* @ their supervisors & managers) for the way they do their jobs. My husband has had several appointments with with Dr Anjali Anil Bharne, MD, a Hematologist here, and we have both been very impressed with her. She is competent, extremely bright, thorough, very personable and present, kind, compassionate and informative. As a retired nurse and psychotherapist, I am very impressed and appreciative. We both trust her.

Outstanding experience!I had my first visit with Dr. Jaramillo yesterday and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. From COVID pre-screening to the exam, to the flu shot, to the lab, everyone was professional and courteous. I couldn't believe how quick and efficient the entire visit was. Nice work UCSD team!
