I have very specific needs. I had particular requirements for my frames and lenses. Ciria went above and beyond to find me just the right frames. The frame I needed was not in stock. I woke up this morning with something in my eye, and it was very painful. I gave it a few hours and tried every which way to remove whatever it was, and then started calling ophthalmologists near me. No one would see me. I tried optometrists and one offered an appointment three weeks out. Then I tried Shadowridge Family Vision Center. Although I was not a patient, they fitted me in, and 40 minutes later, Dr. Demlinger was examining me and carefully removed a small object that had become almost embedded in my eye. It took ten minutes, and why no one else could accommodate me or show any sympathy for my situation is beyond me. Dr. Demlinger was skillful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The front office staff were all helpful too.
I love this place. I honestly don't see what's not to like. Dr Demlinger is a very knowledgeable professional and quite a nice guy to boot. The girls in the front office have always been very nice and quite helpful. I feel quite comfortable in this business. Besides, I'd much rather patronize a small town, privately owned business where the owner and workers are actually members of the community rather than a corporate owned warehouse where they herd you through like cattle and sell you cheap glasses from China.
