My son started treatment here with the therapist in training who he connected with at first and was making good progress. When he asked to decrease his sessions from twice a week to once a week, she said he would not be able to do that. She also insisted that he join an online support group for young adults with what she was not comfortable doing. She terminated his treatment leaving him feeling abandoned and misunderstood. This is a terrible place and does not support true mental health issues..

I do not recommend anyone struggling with mental health go here. I was seeing a therapist with this company for 3 months. In the beginning I did an intake with 2 of their interns to match me with a therapist that is suitable for my mental health needs. I was then paired with a therapist shortly after who also happened to be an intern. I grew very fond, and started to trust this person a lot as I continued to see him frequently. A couple of weeks ago I asked my therapist, if there were any outpatient programs that he could send me information about because I could tell I was struggling a lot, and would possibly need higher care. Update: I wanted to say I have used 3 male counselors and 2 female counselors, and the sliding scale of payment in light of inflation & economic hardship is a lifesaver. And yes you are worth it to thrive, find useful tactics for personal growth, and to find more joy peace and love. I do consider that finding the right therapist isn't always easy. You have to see if the chemistry and style is right, go a few times and see if your gut instinct is telling you that this is the person you can confide in, respect, and trust with you deepest darkest desires and hopes.
