Not sure why so many bad reviews, I went into this place with my back in so much pain after previously being referred to psychical therapy. Psychical therapy did nothing for me at all so I was referred to this chiropractor by my dr. Prior to going here I had to take muscle relaxers and pain pills just to sleep and take away the excruciating pain my body was experiencing because of my back,my back pain was so bad. I went here and let me tell you my back and body feels 10 times better the pain has reduced so much in the 2 months I’ve gone. Dr. Makooi is very thorough in his exams. Listened to my worries and any pains/aches. He was able to diagnose the issues and correct them. He and his receptionist / clerk are very friendly and accommodating.
AMAZING comprehensive chiropractic service by Dr. Makooi. I honestly don't know why there were previous bad reviews. I've gone to several chiropractors before, who have taken Kaiser (ASH) insurance, and he has by far provided more than I've ever received. He completed an initial consultation which included checking my reflexes (have not had this done before at any chiropractics service I've had elsewhere) 15 mins massage table, then the adjustment. I have poor posture which is exacerbated by sedentary lifestyle for work. I'm really excited I found him. I've gone twice so far and will continue to go frequently to get my body to where it needs to be. I cannot recommend them enough! If you're looking for a chiro definitely give them a try!!Also Dr. Makooi speaks English, Farsi, and Turkish. And the receptionist speaks Tagalog
