About Ghost Town Body Art

Ghost Town Body Art offers affordable piercings with experienced and professional artists. Reviewers praise the artists, Mitch and Irais, for their knowledge, kindness, and patience. They emphasize that the artists prioritize the safety and longevity of the piercing, advising clients on the best course of action even if it means not making an immediate sale. One reviewer highlights the importance of listening to the artists' recommendations, sharing a story about a friend who experienced severe infections after getting piercings elsewhere despite being advised to wait. While the artists are highly regarded, reviewers note inconsistencies with the shop's hours. They mention difficulty reaching someone by phone and finding the shop closed during advertised walk-in times.

The staff is great, and I've had nothing but good things to say with the actual piercings. But the hours are never accurate and every time I try to come get pierced no one is in the shop, it's closed and no one will answer the phone. It's very frustrating when they say walk-ins are welcome from a specific time but no one is there to tend to the customers.

I've got A-LOT of piercings; so I'm just gonna do a general review for anyone shopping around for the right artist. All the piercings I've gotten here were done right. They healed quickly, they've lasted and they were affordable. Both of the piercing artists (Mitch and Irais) are experienced, kind, super professional and their knowledge base is INCREDIBLE. I can't speak to Ghost Towns current ink slingers-- I've not gotten one here, in some time-- but one of my favorite pieces was done here. They make you feel so freaking comfortable-- EVEN when you're a pain in the ass like me lol. They're both SO patient and passionate about what they do! They're literally THE BEST. I have been getting body art done since I was 16 years old (SMDH--I'm almost 40 now). I have been to ink and piercing studios all over the world, but most of it done here in the Bay Area. ALOT of studios are way more interested in how many people go thru the turnstile versus ensuring a lasting and safe piercing for YOU. More importantly -- Ghost Town will not do something just for the money. If these people TELL YOU-- "No this isn't a good idea" OR "Just wait this amount of time for this or that." Or "do this instead of that." LISTEN TO THEM! They truly want to send you home with a clean, lasting piercing that you'll love. Plus if you get a piercing that requires anything past initial jewelry change, like stretching and etc they're great with follow up! If they advise you to not do something, don't walk out pissy and go it somewhere else that will do it where you'll likely get infected and know regret. Case in point; I had a friend who fell in love with my dimple piercings and wanted them for herself . I sent her down to see these guys. For whatever reason one of the artists informed her she needed to wait. She didn't. She got the piercings elsewhere. Shocker-- they got SUPER SUPER infected--BOTH SIDES. If she would have just listened she would've saved herself a shit ton of pain, scarring and overall, musty ass regret. Your takeaway from this review -- If you're getting your 25th or 1st piercing this place is where to go.

Great place, great employees! Quick service and very helpful throughout the process. Definitely recommend, especially if you're getting first-time piercings like myself with my nose piercing. They made me feel welcome and comfortable and relaxed. And I had no process with my piercing.
