About Bay Area Motorcycle Training
Bay Area Motorcycle Training offers beginning and advanced rider classes in San Francisco and Vallejo, with Vallejo classes held at the Solano County Fairgrounds. They provide the DMV riding test waiver for students who pass. Motorcycles, helmets, and gloves are provided for beginners. Classes run on weekends year-round and on weekdays in summer, with both online and in-person classroom sessions. The office is remote but reachable by phone or email on weekdays. Instructors are described as great, thorough, and firm on safety, doing demonstrations to ensure understanding. The class is considered straightforward, with a simple written test. The approach is strict but forgiving for new riders. The advice is to come with a learning attitude for a fun and educational experience focused on motorcycle safety.
They are strict but it’s important for motorcycle riding also allot of the bad reviews are from people who didn’t pass the class so keep that in mind. My only thing that I would like then to improve on is better bikes but I bet they would just get stolen.
Carl and Anthony were great instructors, very thorough with each section. Carl would do demonstrations more than once to make sure we understood what to do and would tell the class what to look out for. As long as you come with the attitude to learn and leave the ego at home you'll have plenty of fun and learn a lot about motorcycle safety.
Class time was simple and so was the written test, mainly common sense. Riding was cool, instructors are firm but because of safety which makes sense. But they’re forgiving because they get you’ve only been riding for 2 days. If you wanna learn to ride, just come here.
