I originally started out with this salon years ago, but branched off to follow the nail technician that started her own business. As time went on, things were not working out well with her and raising prices as they go...hard to find a good nail salon with quality in workmanship. After going back these couple of months, was quoted 40 dollars for a pink and white fill, then the one person wasn't doing such a great job, so got another person ( names are being hidden) and she is really good. But this last time, she advised me that the 40 dollars was no more and charged me 46 dollars( one nail had to be replaced) last time it was 43 dollars for replaced nail. Then advised me that because my nails were longer it was more!! How long is long? My nail tips are maybe 1/4 inch above the finger tip. Then to top it, when I made the check out..she said leave it blank! Not made to the establishment ! So, what does that mean? She pays the owner what they require and she keeps the rest?? Plus a large tip to boot? It makes you suspicious because you feel maybe you are paying more than you should. Charge as they go..and maybe should have told me this before I went in again? But many people have made comments of how nice everyone is..so far, I am not feeling this ..this person keeps tapping my,fingers ,hands, pulling and turning my hands and fingers as if I am stiff and tells me to relax...I AM NOT Tense!! I understand they have to,do a job and be correct, but when you feel like they are doing you a favor and not vice versa .. You wonder why am I going back? I technically have not felt welcome or comfortable here since I came back, but also wonder if you are getting jilted with this pricing all of a sudden. So if the nail,technician gets to,cash your check instead of the owner, not only are you paying for the job,but also more of a tip rather than 15% I actually wouldn't even mind that if they were a little more hospitable or made you,feel comfortable to even talk with them..but not even that. I,like her work but I don't like being gouged or unpleasantness. Have to,make a decision to return or try some place closer to,me,because I still drive a distance to,even get there.
