Like some others, I am also shocked by the reviews I have seen. I brought my mother to MVBH to see Dr. Hanna for different reasons but a significant one was her loss of appetite and near daily insomnia. Thankfully, since we saw Dr. Hanna, my mother has been able to sleep! She is very caring and listens. I am so grateful to have found MVBH.
I was referred to Dr. Kyaw over 6 years ago after another inpatient stay at a Psychiatric facility. I was on so many different medication's for my condition, it wasn't until I was working with Dr K that he figured out the right combo. Based on my behavior he determined I had bipolar 2 with manic behavior which explained so much. He is the only psychiatrist I've ever been to that actually takes his time with you making sure all of your questions are answered before you leave. I can't recommend him enough. He is an amazing doctor and knows how to get to the root of the problem. His staff, Teresa especially, are all so helpful. I have provided my therapist with his name to refer her patients to which she has been doing for the last few years. Even though I recently moved to Texas I still see him every 3 months and can reach him with questions through a web portal where he responds in a day or so. He is one of the best psychiatric doctors I have had and I've had a few!
I been a patient for a while already. I was seeing Randy for therapy before he retired and it helped me so much. Now I'm seeing Ken Kaiser and he's a very good therapist as well. I always feel much better after my therapy.
