I was very skeptical because of all the bad reviews. However my son’s pediatrician assured me that Dr.Siegel is great and has been doing this a long time. Dr.Siegel and team were great from beginning to end. Yes the wait is extremely long so plan to be there all day and make sure to have patience. It’s great to remember that there is not a lot of pediatric ophthalmologist so Dr. is very busy. My experience with Dr and staff were great. Dr was very great with my son he took his time and made him comfortable I felt that they were very thorough which is great and he did not rush at all and answered all questions.
It’s amazing to me that there are so many bad reviews for this office.We have been to this office four or five times over jan/feb ‘23.Nobody likes long waits, I get that.Nobody likes sitting in their cars instead of the waiting room, I get that, too.Even if they had the waiting room open, they wouldn’t have the space to hold all the patients. And it’s post covid. Everything has changed a little.I have not met one rude staff member.We have seen 3 different optometrists and they were all super nice and efficient.Dr DeCastro has been my daughters ophthalmologist and I feel like he is efficient and thorough in finding the best solution for his patient. It makes me upset that the lobby is still closed. This office makes children wait in the car with their parent before letting them sit inside between each area of the clinic. This week is the hottest part of the year. How is it fair that children have to go from inside to outside several times for their appointments since the lobby is closed? I called yesterday and was told that lobby was indeed open. You know the staff inside is nice and cool with the air conditioning running. But forget about the children. Oh yeah don’t forget that mask.?
