In 2008 we chose Epic to execute on a whole-house renovation based on not only a competitive bidding process but also the recommendations of friends and colleagues. Best choice ever! Maureen shepherded the transformation of our home, including new hardwood floors, custom cabinets and countertops, an expanded master closet and bathroom, all new plumbing fixtures, etc. Over time we've continued to turn to Epic for tasks ranging from a swimming pool redesign/update to smart home upgrades to cosmetic improvements. Their staff and subcontractors are top-notch: creative, detail-oriented and committed to on-time delivery. Highly recommend!
We LOVE our Epic Design built patio. We had a tough problem. We wanted a shaded patio that provided an outdoor living space and provided shade for the southern facing glass wall of our house, but didn't block the view. It felt like an impossible set of constraints, but Epic came up with a clever design that met the constraints with style and simple elegance. From Day 1 the design has looked and felt like a natural extension of the house, not an addition. It has transformed the way we use our backyard.
