About UNI Pet Clinic - Union City
UNI Pet Clinic is an affordable animal hospital located in Union City, with a second location in downtown San Jose. The clinic is open from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm, and also offers emergency hours, catering to the needs of pet owners. The office visit fee is $19.95, and the Rabies vaccination is $10, making it accessible for pet owners. The staff is described as friendly and caring, with the doctor being thorough and knowledgeable. Customers have praised the clinic's warm and welcoming atmosphere, with one customer's pet feeling at home and never wanting to leave. However, the patient experience can be inconsistent, with some visits feeling like the staff genuinely cares about the pet's health, while others feel more like a routine service. Overall, UNI Pet Clinic provides affordable and convenient veterinary services, though the quality of the experience may vary.
I have been taking my dog to this office for last 4 years. Dr. Kang is amazing. He is professional, quick, and sometimes is able to give me same day appointments. My dog is in good hands. Thank you Dr. Kang.
I'm just done with this place. I asked for a vaccine record so I can put my dog in a pet hotel. They sent me the vaccine record with one of the vaccines saying that the next due date is the 9th of this month, when they never told me to go back for it? Straight up giving out vaccine records with wrong information. Don't trust this place.
Update: They were able to correct the date. I was just extra annoyed when I wrote this review, because I was planning on dropping off my dog somewhere. However, I couldn't because that expiration date on the vaccine record was wrong...Glad it got fixed
Usually long waits and whenever I pass by, I see people waiting outside. The last time I came here I waited more than an hour before the vet saw me and my dog. We had an appointment. Other patients were noticing that this place overbooks their schedule. Would like to see an improvement in their bookings. I’m looking into transferring to a different vet because long waits at this place is becoming a regular thing.
It would be helpful for the hospital to have a waiting list that patients could see and text notifications to update the patient if theres a delay.
