I have always had excellent care at Kaiser audiology. I went to have a hearing test on 4/13/2018 and my hearing was very good in my right ear and a little bit of loss in the left ear. On 7/4/2018 I experienced sudden(in 3 seconds) hearing loss in the right ear and loss of balance. After many treatments I was fitted with a bicross hearing aid. It has worked very well for me.
When it comes to hearing care and innovative hearing technology, you won't find a better clinic. Dr. Barbara Slaymaker and her Audiology Staff are very knowledgeable, have years of clinical experience and treat everyone with the utmost respect and care. If you need a hearing test, have a current set of devices that need adjustments or want to buy more up to date technology, start with Dr. Slaymaker and her Clinical Audiologists. Very kind people.
Kaiser Permanente Hearing Center is squirred away in a small corner with barely any "chairs" available. close by ones really uncomfortable. (by comparison, seating in other departments in same area are comfy). reception area designed poorly: -people waiting in line are in front of the sole door. -receptionist unsmiling, bad mode? noted to me i'm in way of people moving equipment. *guess she forgot i'm the customer, i'm always right. just not at Kaiser. -other times i stand back per the signs, other people cut in front, receptionist does nothing....2 stars..
