Joanne Brown Dancers is the best studio in the Bay Area. I have been dancing myself with Joanne since I was 3, both of my daughters have been dancing with Joanne since they were 2. Both of my daughters were very shy and had a hard time making friends. Now both of my teens are outgoing and make friends where ever they go. They love to dance and we all love the family feeling we get at the studio. Joanne is always communicating with us and letting us know what is going on, I greatly appreciate all that Joanne has done for us.

My family joined the JBD family over 5 years ago and we are still dancing with the studio to this day. Both of my kids experienced the recreational classes and the competition team. Joanne is the owner and she cares deeply about her dancers and families. She makes sure they all have fun and checks attitudes at the door in a respectful, dignified manner. She models professionalism for her team of choreographers and dancers. Joanne has been making sure families stay connected and safe during the pandemic because she understands the need for children to maintain connection. Thanks JBD for all you do for families and the greater artistic and performance community!

Both of my children have danced here for over 6 years. It has been a wonderful place for our family. The quality of dance instruction as well as the personal connections have been a huge positive part of their teenage years. Joanne cares about the kids and wants them to enjoy dance. It’s been a safe place for my kids to learn and improve, and to be part of a bigger family.
