Orr Hot Springs Resort is a peaceful and remote clothing optional retreat, providing an unplugged and relaxing experience. It is worth the drive from Santa Rosa and offers a super peaceful day pass option. Nestled in a tiny valley surrounded by beautiful trees, the resort blends into the wildlife, creating a calming and nurturing atmosphere. Various water temperatures, a sauna, and a steam room are available for guests. The individual claw foot tubs and live steam room offer a healing experience for the body and soul. The communal kitchen is well equipped and clean, allowing guests to prepare their own meals, as no food is available on-site. Rooms are rustic, with some having half-baths or shared facilities, and showers are only available in the hot springs area. The resort maintains a limited number of guests, ensuring it never feels too crowded. Staff are commendable for maintaining this beautiful sanctuary, which features a tranquil and naturally beautiful location. The hot springs area is separated from the rest of the resort, creating a respectful and meditative atmosphere where guests can soak in peace. Great surroundings! Nice and quiet. We walked Montgomery woods trail, very magical! Nice soaking pools but they were a little inconsistent. One day 99 at the hotest pool and 105 the next?? The soaking pools could definitely be bigger to accommodate the amout of people they allow each day. The individual tubs dhould be hotter as well. They could add another soaking pool to keep the pools less crowded. Mornings were the best times to enjoy the pools without crowds. Overall it was a great experience.
Super unique and special place to go when you need a reset. Photos will never quite do it justice with how the place is truly built into the landscape along the waterway. Had a fantastic experience with the massage services and the facility as a whole. For folks looking for a resort experience where you’re being waited on hand and foot, this isn’t that. However, if you’re willing to pack in some food and do a little prep on the front end, this place is truly perfect for decompressing and disconnecting.
We are regulars for day use, which is $50 per person to use the hot springs from 12-9pm. We enjoy the quiet and peaceful environment that is catered towards adults, and that many people are there to relax in nature and read quietly. We like that there are 4 different temperature pools to choose from. It's 106 degrees per staff for the hottest pool, 103 for the second hottest, the 2 remaining pools (coolest is the large pool for swimming and second coolest is the adjacent small side pool) decrease in temperature from there. My partner likes the wet and dry saunas in the winter, and I see many folks going into the cold plunge afterwards. My favorite spot to relax is the single tubs on the upper patio, as I enjoy looking at the trees in the daytime and stars at night.
