I chose Gel X with a French tip and unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. The nail tech wasn’t able to achieve the design I originally wanted, so I decided to keep it simple. Even then, she seemed to struggle with the French tip on the almond shape. Most of the lines are straight, but a couple are uneven, and one of the lines goes down too far toward my cuticle, which doesn’t look great up close. The nails also feel thicker than I’m used to — the underside wasn’t filed down, so they look bulky (not sure if it’s from the glue).

I have been to Megan twice and she does a beautiful manicure!! She worked carefully to get the shape I like and there are tons of colors to choose from. The edges are even and clean and no extra gel under my nails. They have lasted 3 weeks with no chips or lifting. I have only been “up charged” for a repair and that’s very reasonable. I make an appointment to be sure to get her.
Ritz Nails is excellent! It is clean, professional, and above all they care about their clients. The staff is awesome and I have never had an experience like that with a nail salon! They go above and beyond and I encourage anyone looking for a local nail salon to try them out, they do not disappoint.
