“I stopped in on a Tuesday evening around 5:45pm with my 8-month-old, to meet her to help her figure out what frames she should get. As soon as I walked in, my baby and I were greeted with a genuinely warm welcome by the front desk. I really was only there to help my mother out for that moment but decided to ask a few questions of my own. Within minutes I was pleasantly surprised to be seen almost immediately. Mind you it’s close to 6pm!

I have to say one of the biggest highlights is their extended evening hours on select days, with appointments available until 7pm. As a working parent, that level of accessibility is invaluable and makes scheduling routine eye care so much less stressful.

Every member of the team was incredibly accommodating, even with my little one in tow. The technician was friendly, patient, and explained each step of the exam, helping me feel comfortable throughout the visit.

Dr. Funai was exceptional. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to carefully explain my prescription while answering every question I had without making me feel rushed. What really stood out was that he also shared thoughtful guidance about my baby’s future eye care, which I genuinely appreciated.

The office itself is spotless, well maintained, and they have a nice selection of stylish frames to browse.

From the welcoming staff to the efficient visit and outstanding care, every part of my experience exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for an optometry office that truly values its patients while delivering excellent clinical care, I highly recommend Dr. Funai and his team.“

“Mary is a friendly and informative Optometrist. I took a plethora of test and she took the time to explain all the test results and use models to help visualize her explanations. Another quality I really appreciate about her is she’s thorough and explains things well, but also efficient with getting through the tests and stuff, she has other patients to see and I have places and responsibilities to attend to so I like how she can move the process along. She’ll be my optometrist for life.

One thing however is her front office is hit or miss, we didn’t buy glasses there because of one employee in particular, so just keep that in mind.“
