Although the hospital shows signs of age, it strives to provide a caring environment where patients do not feel rushed.
ER staff - just incredible. David and Laurel especially. Physician on-call did not have basic knowledge about common medications for blood pressure. That was concerning. I don’t think it’s appropriate for patients being admitted from the ER to inpatient to be subjected to a lecture about God. He had the best intentions. There was no referral made in discharge paperwork.
I would love to take this opportunity to thank Debra Wear(Heart of GOLD- from Texas) Nurse Theresa(from Florida), Raymond (personable, competent, and caring), Eliza, Ashley, Paula (very attentive and compassionate), Michelle (From the day she called me to do post op-) Funny, lovely, great character ALL of you. PT team very aware of my particular needs and saw me well on my way. Although I know your hospital has to shuffle a lot of bodies through the hospital, but they Never made me feel as tho they were going to rush me out or let me leave their care until they knew I was safe and good to go. From my fam to all yours- Thank you, so much.
Nurses are very caring. The pre-op team was phenomenal. It’s an older hospital and it’s starting to show its age.
They work with what they have. Not the best hospital, not the worst.
