Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital in Turlock, CA provides comprehensive veterinary care for pets of all kinds. Their experienced team of veterinarians offers a wide range of services, from routine check-ups and vaccinations to complex procedures like surgery, oncology, acupuncture, and cold laser therapy. They take special care of avian and exotic animal companions as well.
Clients praise the hospital's friendly and professional staff, who have been very caring, especially during difficult times. However, one client felt one of the veterinarians seemed rude and abrupt.
The hospital recently changed ownership and implemented a new policy of charging a $25 fee for canceled or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours' notice. While one customer understood the reasoning behind this rule, they felt the policy should allow for some flexibility in cases of genuine emergency or illness.
Despite this policy change, the hospital still receives positive feedback, with one client sharing their cat was seen the same day they called and the problem was quickly resolved. Clients have also shared their appreciation for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Cassidey, who took amazing care of a critically injured kitten, and Dr. Lee, who was supportive and comforting during a difficult time. Overall, Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital is described as providing high-quality veterinary care for pets in a caring environment.
We've been going to Dr. Lee for years. She has been so good to our chinchilla, dog, and cats. Always so patient and gentle with them, and has done all their surgeries. We drive from out of the city to see her. Very much worth it. We always know they're in good hands there.
Drive 30 minutes to this vet any time I have to bring an animal in for something. They offer curbside service which is phenomenal if you have pets that are nervous or too chatty. Have had quite a few doctors, all of which are super sweet. The waits so far have never been unusually long. Reasonably priced and offer care credit options for more serious visits. This place helps me keep my babies happy and healthy. Thank you guys!!
The staff at this clinic were absolutely amazing, friendly, and compassionate. Huge shoutout to Dr. Lee for being so attentive and helpful to our girl Miss Flurry! Thank you 😊
