Camp Silver Spur is a business that provides a warm and helpful community for guests. The accommodations are true to their description, and the scenery is beautiful with amazing views. Amenities include an indoor fireplace, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, and a swimming pool with cabana-style sunbeds. There is also a meditation area for guests seeking tranquility. The atmosphere is lively, allowing guests to enjoy swimming, lounging by the pool, and listening to music without feeling crowded. The staff members are praised for their outstanding service and attention to detail, making guests feel like family. Many guests have expressed a desire to return repeatedly. Caterers brought in for private events have received positive feedback for the quality of their food, which exceeded expectations. The kitchen staff, led by the chef, has impressed guests with delicious meals throughout their stays. While some have noted that the showers could use updating and the air conditioning was lacking, these issues were easily overlooked due to the overall enjoyable experience and incredible service.
This place is truly magical. Nestled in the sierras with stunning views all around, my only regret is not discovering this place sooner.
In addition to the breathtaking nature, the staff and management put tremendous effort into maintaining this lovely place. They care so clearly about the land and make sure all visitors feel welcome—very accommodating. My fiance and I were here for a particular event but we want to bring our kids here someday.

Just went for my second time to an event held at this location. I can recall going here for a church camp 30+ years ago. Updated since then, and includes a lovely pool. Amazing views once one hikes up the hill just a bit.
Stayed in house #3. Could have used a bit of fixing-up (ceiling fan in the family room would not reverse direction, and the swamp cooler was not functional). But these small issues are not uncommon to lodging at places like this. Over all it was a great experience.
Hidden Gem.
The thing that stood out to me was the staff. Wendy and Shaun are absolutely amazing. On top of the staff catering to all the events needs, they made all of us feel like we were family. I would highly suggest this space to anyone looking for a slice of heaven hidden in the hills.
