Stopped at Tres Pinos Market & Gas Station on my way to Pinnacles National Park (just 23 miles away), and it had everything I needed and more. It's the last full-service stop for up to 75 miles.
They've got gas, cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches, beer, wine, auto products, medicine, firewood, charcoal, flowers, baked goods, eggs, milk, ice cream, and party supplies--seriously, the list goes on.
There's a clean laundromat, a delicious Mexican restaurant, and the bathrooms are clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
If you're heading through San Benito County or to the park, this place I Highly recommend!
If your coming from Hollister and your on your way to the Pinnacles or King city just know, Tres Pinos Market is your last stop for up to seventy miles. The Pinnacles about thirty-five miles so grab your gas and goodies at Tres Pinos.
Nice girl at the register and I got wrapped up into this guy’s rant about Progressive Insurance denying him insurance after he made a claim. He was livid. He also spoke of some Mexican thieves but he found some new insurance from a Mexican guy. I think he must have been drinking some of the wine from down the road where he said he’s worked forever. The way he spoke to me was as strange as the way I speak to most strangers. This was the first place in years that allowed me to pump gas before I paid. I’m glad that card worked or I’d still be in town washing something or either siphoning it back out for ‘em.
