Toni is awesome! I was super nervous about getting my curly locks cut and finally got the guts to give this a try. She looked at my hair and asked about what I put in it and then asked me what I was looking for in a cut. She then showed me styles and pointed out different things/asked what I liked. She was very patient and sweet and not pushy at all. We went with a conservative cut but she took all the split end and put in layers and carved my hair to bring out my curls. She then showed me how she was styling my hair. I felt like it was very reasonable and is something within my reach of also doing. Toni is outstanding ! She made my crazy poofy frizzy hair look great. This is the first time in years that I let my hair down without a hairband or clip to tame it. Best of all, she listens and offers tailored advice on the look you want to achieve based on how much time/effort you can put forth. She is a professional, and I would highly recommend h to anyone with curly hair Update: I had my second visit with Toni today. To say that Toni is outstanding is an understatement - she is awesome. Toni is a true gift to Curly hair in the Westlake area. She has given me consistently good cuts AND they tend to grow out well. Having a curly cut that grows without creating a shelf is a godsend. I am so grateful to have found Toni. Ever since my first cut with Toni nearly three years ago now, my hair is bouncier, less damaged, and much more consistent. I've never gotten more compliments on my hair than I have since I started seeing Toni. If you are a curly-haired human looking for a loving and thorough haircut, this is THE place to go!.
