Dr. Fry is a great surgeon and gives sound advice. Broke my collarbone and based on the x-rays, he gave me options but recommended no surgery due the the collarbone would heal in time and it avoid surgery and possible infection being introduced. I would say he is not the most friendly but I am not paying him to be friendly as some have pointed out, I am looking for sound advice and his expertise which I feel I received. That said I was back. In 2016 I sustained high impact injuries from being thrown from my horse. Transported to Lompoc Medical Center where Dr Fry was waiting with other trauma team. I had 3 surgeries for different areas of my body in 3 days. I was in agony with even the tiniest movement of my left leg or toes as I laid prone. Dr Fry described to me that my injuries were like when a chicken leg is broken off from the chicken body. Dr. Fry is a very meticulous surgeon. This results in a very low surgical complication rate with a less than 1% joint replacement infection rate over the past 12 years. The Medicare national average for joint replacements is 2%.
