It was such an easy experience communicating with Ric (the owner) about my design idea and booking. When I got to the shop, Carla already had a few iterations of my design idea ready to go, but was also very open to suggestions, collaboration, etc.. It was an absolute pleasure working with her on the design and placement. Next step was the actual tattooing, and when I tell you this woman is a true pro, I really mean it. She has such a light touch with the tattoo gun, and her work is so precise, meticulous, and beautiful, you can really tell she cares deeply about every dot of ink she puts on the skin. I'll definitely be coming back to this shop for more tattoos in the future and could not recommend RicRoks Tattoos, or Carla, more highly.“

“I saw Anvil's booth at the Seaside Tattoo Expo in Ventura and was taken with Kathleen's work. I'd been kicking around an idea for months, but hadn't found someone I thought would do it well. I had an idea that combined realism, geometric abstraction, and watercolor techniques. I didn't have the design, but I had an idea and some examples showing different elements of what I wanted. Kathleen took it and ran with it, putting together a design even cooler than I imagined! This was my first tattoo and she made the process as effortless as possible. Five and a half hours in the chair and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Will definitely be looking to get more with her. The studio itself was really clean and the vibe was very cool. Lots of talented people there.“

“Love this place. Got my first few tattoos here with Jay few months ago and I had a really great experience. I was a little nervous for the pain (I'm scared of needles) but I was suprise at how it feels kinda good lol. Jay really let me take my time with my designs and placement and the shop is really clean and tidy. I checked out some other local shops and tbh can't say they're as clean. Playink is the place to go! I went back a few weeks ago for a larger piece and again had a great experience from Jay, Jojo, and Lexi. Ended up getting an additional flash while I was there. “Wow! Kesha is the best! I was shocked how you can be comfortable with lash extension. I have never liked lash extension before I met her! So soft, light, natural. I got so many compliments. Any size, shape what ever you want. I didn't know what's good for me, because i don't like when it looks too heavy or super artificial, or when feels kinda prickle. She did so good. “I've had previous experience with microblading that left me unsatisfied. However, I recently learned about a new technique that offers a more natural look, so I decided to give it a try. Despite its higher cost compared to traditional microblading, the results were truly amazing. My experience here was fantastic! They took the time to thoroughly explain the process and worked closely with me to ensure I was happy with the outcome. They dedicated an hour to achieving evenness and precision, followed by two more hours for meticulous line-by-line work. Despite it nearing closing time, the artist didn't rush the process. She remained patient, ensuring the final result was even, straight, and entirely natural. I expressed my appreciation through a generous tip because of her patience. The entire staff was exceptionally kind. The only downside is that they primarily communicate in Chinese, and they only accept cash payments. No walk ins; by appointment only. Highly recommend this place and will be back for touch up!“
