I recently relocated to the Tehachapi area and discovered Razor House Grooming Parlor on Yelp. Upon calling, I spoke with Raquel, who graciously accommodated my slightly delayed arrival. As someone particular about haircuts due to my head shape, finding the right barber can be challenging. However, Raquel exceeded my expectations with her skill and attention to detail, taking the time needed to ensure a satisfactory result.The owner, Roger, also impressed me with his professionalism and friendly demeanor. Good vibes only at this shop! There's something for everyone. The shop is very clean and stylish. A few months ago I made an appointment for my 3yo but we walked in, he flipped out, and wouldn't get in the chair because of previous bad experiences. Roger offered to let us borrow clippers to cut it at home. What an amazing, sweet gesture but we already have professional clippers at home and said we'd try again later. I brought my boyfriend back because I liked the look of the shop and wanted him to get a birthday haircut. I got the whole package for him since he's never had that before. Roger really cleaned him up and the hot towels with a shave is always a nice touch....read full review
