My partner and I called Cannery Park our home for 3 years from 2021 to 2024. We lived in a 2-bedroom unit on the 4th floor. We would have signed our lease for another year if our rent didn't increase by 10%. Our experience living here was mostly positive so I believe that Cannery Park deserves an honest review. Pros: - The leasing office staff is friendly and professional. From move-in to move-out it was a smooth process with fantastic communication. For a period of time, they managed our packages and had 0 issues with that. - The maintenance team (shoutout to Freddie, such a super nice guy that helped us a lot) was phenomenal. We had to have our garbage disposal and dishwasher replaced--they replaced it with 0 issues. They also unclogged our sinks, toilets, tubs. Any issues we had with the unit were resolved promptly which I think is super underrated in apartment complexes. - Our unit in particular was excellent. There are modern appliances, plenty of storage, a large bathroom, etc. It was the perfect space for us and our cat. I have seen other reviews complaining about noise but we didn't experience any disturbing noise. Despite living close to the airport, we would not hear planes often. If we did, it would just be a slight hum above us, nothing too disturbing. - The units support ATT fiber. Both of our rooms had RJ-45 outlets making internet setup a breeze. - The amenities are beautiful and well-kept. Cons: - The rent increases can be pretty steep, with 10% being the top end of our increases over the years (ultimately causing us to not renew). During previous years we were able to negotiate them down a bit but this last renewal was just too much for us to continue staying here. - The garage doors and elevators break down often. There was a period of time where the 10th street garage entrance was closed for weeks. - The parking garage lacks security cameras. Our car was hit and run by another resident but we were luckily able to track them down. I had a windshield wiper stolen from my car. I recommend treating the garage as if it's a public parking one. Additional Notes: - Packages are managed by Luxer lockers but they often will overflow due to the sheer volume of packages the complex receives. This means your packages will be left outside of the lockers or in front of the leasing office. We didn't have any packages stolen but they did have flyers up around Thanksgiving/Christmas time warning residents about thieves.
I can't say enough great things about this complex. I have lived here for 6 months now and I am very happy. In particular, my experience with Brenda has been the most superior experience I have ever had with a leasing staff member/customer service representative in general. She makes you feel so welcomed, remembers your name, greets you with joy, and handles anything you need promptly and efficiently. The maintenance fixes things quickly, the surrounding neighborhood is clean (I used to live at Miro and I did not feel safe outside the complex and it was disgusting), and the kitchen designs are amazing. Also, the dog park.. incredible! Highly recommend this place as your next home and ask for Brenda because she is the bomb.com
