I recently became an "employer" when I hired two employees as home caregivers for my mother in law. We came to Laural at X-act Computer Services to help with payroll. Before I was officially a client, she answered all of my questions and she walked me what the process of payroll entails. I really appreciated this fact because I was overwhelmed with the process of hiring private caregivers (something my I really figuring out as I went along). I have now officially been her client for approximately 6 weeks (three pay periods). The process has been easy and effortless. I still have many questions as I'm navigating this process but she has been graciously repeating information, running numbers for comparisons, and providing me with different financial scenarios which allows me to make the best financial decisions. My wife and I work full time, we have 2 kids and The added responsibility of being an employer had not been part of the plan and added quite a bit of stress. Having Laural and her team on my side has taken the stress of payroll off my plate has been a huge relief. Thank you Laural!
