Paulina paid great attention to detail and I am very happy with my haircut! It turned out as I expected!Note that K-studio is inside Salon Republic, and you won't see a K-studio sign board!
Great experience with Paulina. She was really receptive to my idea and did a great cut. Easy to get along with. I got a modern mullet and she shaped it just the way I wanted. Would definitely recommend!
I am one of the pickiest clients when it comes to hair stylists. My ex used to be a stylist in Beverly Hills, so the bar has been pretty high for many years. I used to drive from San Jose to SF every time I got my hair cut at Bao Bao on Market when I first moved up from LA. After I grew tired of the traffic getting into SF during weekday mornings, I started scouting some local South Bay salons for a suitable replacement. I found a place called Kittiez. At some point, the name of the business was changed to K-Studio and the owner Kayla moved on to other ventures. I continued going back because there were still a couple stylists there that I trusted with my hair. They moved from their El Camino and Fair Oaks location to Salon Republic off of Murphy Ave in downtown Sunnyvale. It's all about the stylist, and in this case, I've been getting my hair cut by Paulina for a few years now and I've always been pleased with the results. She's super nice and down-to-earth. It is a bit hard to make an appointment on short notice, usually need at least 2-4 days in advance. This is because there are only two stylists working there at this point. But if you know this ahead of time when you book your appointment, you shouldn't be disappointed.
