I've seen Dr. Frank He for 16+ years, beginning when he taught at the Santa Cruz campus of Five Branches Institute. I marveled from the beginning about his patience, kindness, and gentle demeanor, while clearly having a knowledge base beyond my comprehension. His colleagues respect him, his students admire and look up to him, and his patients trust him. Now, Frank, as many of us fondly call him, has built this nurturing, healing space of his own in the Integrative Medicine Center and has brought together a caring, positive, and talented team of practitioners. Frank is wise beyond his many years of practice and is humble, always open to learning with each patient as well. He is brilliant and yet understated about his knowledge. His dedication to each patient is evident as he listens closely, and coordinates an individual healing plan for each client,often including lifestyle modifications, along with acupuncture, cupping, and herbs. This is not a passive process, but rather an active joint effort with the patient and any other practitioners. I have seen him for conditions as varied as immune boosting before an international trip, an occupational shoulder injury, a neurological condition along with low back pain, and foot pain. His care has been equally valuable with each. Frank is a team player, who understands science, welcomes challenges, and I cannot recommend him enough.
