How I settled on Chapter Tattoo was his detailed emails. He was professional and to the point. The shop was clean with black and white walls. He took me through his workstation on how each person has a brand new needle and ink set. Once the work is completed, he discards the needles in his biohazard red bin under his workstation. All his surfaces are stainless steal, disinfected, and items wrapped in plastic are changed out with each client. He is passionate about his work, calm, and he is a people person. He made sure my tattoos had the correct symmetry on my arm. This was my very first tattoo and ended up with two. Chapter Tattoo is the best place in town.
I found Danny on yelp looking for a tattoo artist where I live in Sunnyvale. A lot of people on yelp mentioned that Danny took cleanliness very seriously and is a great artist. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get her first tattoo and a clean shop was first on the list . We met Danny and he went over how he cleans his station and all steps in between. Danny is very easy going and answered all of our questions. After my daughter got her awesome tattoo I asked Danny if he did blast over/ cover ups. He said yes and I showed him the tattoos I wanted to cover up. I got them when I was young and dumb lol. I didn't want to hide them with just a black panther and really wanted a tiger. Danny drew up a fantastic tiger and used flames and stripes to cover and draw the eye away from the old tattoos. I am more than pleased with the results and everyone that I've showed has been blown away by the transformation. If you are looking for a professional tattoo artist who prides himself on cleanliness and is a great artist, then Danny is your man!
I came in this morning to get a very very small tattoo done. First of all, Danny responded to my text so quickly in the morning and even though he clearly had a booked up day, he still made time. He explained how everything works (my first tattoo) very thoroughly and gave me tips on what a good clean set up needs to look like and how to care for my tattoo after. I’ll definitely come back here for a larger piece. This was an awesome experience with a very nice person. Thank you Danny!
