It's like walking into a fluffy Wonderland and furry friends.This place came through for us during the major heat wave in the summer of 2022 when we couldn't keep the heat inside our house below 80. Our chin stayed cool and healthy and is now back home safe with us.

Holly was amazing. She gave us so much helpful information to get started owning a chinchilla ourselves. She made the experience painless and was very patient. We love our new chin he's wonderful! Would definitely recommend coming here for adopting a chin. We drove from about 1 hour and a half away and it was worth it. They were patient as we were about 40 minutes late for our appointment and still made this the best pet adoption experience i've ever had!

this is a really cool awesome animal care center shelter . clean well maintained wonderful caring staff and really sweet loving adorable chinchillas need a home be a foster parent to a chinchella or chinchilla until a forever home found no out of pocket costs veterans. new state law allows you to adopt an animal and adoption fees waived 0 nada free just show va card or state id dl to verify vet status note. chinchillas make awesome pets. they are gentle loving animals who deserve a loving forever home equally to cats and dogs and bunnies. these people are experts in chinchella care

SFBayArea based California Chins - Chinchilla Rescue (cachins.org & chinchillarescue.org) is a dedicated "chinchilla only" rescue group founded and run by California Chins, a 501(c)3 organization originally founded by Lani Ritchey, Betti Cogswell, and Roxane Beeman. Our goal is to provide information to people interested in chinchillas, adopting chinchillas as well as, a safe place for chinchillas who needs a new home. Many chinchillas are being lost, abandoned or surrendered by owners no longer able to care for them. We take care of their physical and emotional needs so that they may find happy, loving, forever homes.
