The year before I got married, I saw Kara several times to get the perfect, subtle, dimensional color on my dark Asian hair. It was beautiful! Fast forward several years and I totally cheated on Kara and went somewhere else to get my hair colored because it was a little cheaper. BAD IDEA. I tried to like it, but it was not at all what I wanted-ashy color in some spots, brassy orange in other spots. Kara worked her magic and got my hair close to my natural color and we'll have to correct this over time. LESSON LEARNED. I'm not big on "change" when it comes to hair. Having recently moved to the area from L.A., I wanted to find someone local. Jess Gonsalves did my color and cut and I'm so thrilled. She even asked for me to send pics prior to my appt. so she could be best prepared. I would highly recommend her; she listened to what I wanted to achieve and followed thru like a true pro.

I haven't had my hair done in over 3 years because it never turned out how I wanted, but l decided to give it another try. Samara did a balayage and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's exactly what I wanted - natural, yet noticeable.
