After interviewing several local South Tahoe based Contractors to knock down my cabin and build my new custom home we selected Garrick as our General Contractor. I did my due diligence and spoke to several sub-contractors, city employees, and local handymen and all of them highly recommended Garrick. Garrick of G&S Construction did it again! Last year Garrick replaced the exterior cedar siding along with total window replacement and new stonework at my Lake Tahoe home. This year he finished a partial interior renovation and it all looks absolutely fantastic. The project involved the total remodel of two bathrooms, new slate flooring, solid wood interior door replacements, rewiring and hanging a vintage brass chandelier that once hung in the former High Sierra Casino, new granite countertops, new cabinets, wainscoting, new mirrors and many other enhancements. We couldn't be happier with the house that G&S built for us and we had a wonderful experience with Garrick and Becki. Several contractors who live in our neighborhood watched the house being constructed and have all told us how impressed they were with the quality of the work. His subcontractors and suppliers also all told us how lucky we were to have Garrick working on our project. When the severe winter of 2016/2017 delayed the construction start, Garrick helped us revise the schedule and did a great job of making up for lost time.
