I would give Colleen 10 Stars!! I was suffering beyond my pain threshold (which is very high) with a hip issue. Colleen took the time to hear me! and offer some therapeutic advice as well as exercises to help me understand my pain and find relief. She stressed how important it is to be our own advocate when dealing with insurance companies. I now have an MRI scheduled which would never have happened had she not guided me towards a solution. She was my bright star in this painful dilemma. She is a gifted healer. ??

I had been experiencing low back pain for a week and had to call in on Thursday. I was able to get into see Colleen at Sonoma Deep Tissue Massage on Friday and even after just one massage the difference is amazing. I am a nurse by profession and as soon as she started to work the muscles in my back, I was aware of how skilled and knowledgeable she is about human anatomy. Her massage room is comfortable and relaxing and I felt that I didn't want to move, I was so relaxed. It truly was the best massage I have ever had and I've had a few! do yourself a favor and give her a call!

I've seen a lot of massage therapists and Colleen is one of the bests. She really gets into all the muscles and tendons and works them out so you not only feel great after but you notice that the work lasts till your next appointment. She knows the body very well and knows how to get into all the spots that are the tightest that you didn't even know you had. I have spinal fusion and she gets all the scar tissue near my to loosen up. I'm so thankful I found her to be apart of my healing journey.

From Sonoma Deep Tissue Massage

I was originally trained in Hellerwork, a form of Structural Integration in 1993-1994. If you like deeper, stronger, and or more specific massage (fixing things),or have anxiety/stress related muscle pain you are in the right place. Deep tissue does not mean pressing harder, it means understanding the muscular anatomy, and working in a way that gets to the core of pain and tension so that you can experience lasting results. This type of bodywork/massage can break up long-held patterns that cause pain and stiffness, limiting ease and flexibility. Deep can also refer to a place of deep healing and transformation, holding a deep space for change to occur in the physical tissue, without hard physical pressure.
