This hotel was very clean and nice! It was our first time in Solvang. What made the experience extra nice was the front desk service from an employee named JAMES. Wow. Really impressed with the way he goes above and beyond with his professionalism and guest service. Amazing!
Why is this hotel 3 starts? This one needs to be a 5 stars. We are currently on a road trip from San Diego to San Francisco and this is our 3rd stop. The last 2 hotels were expensive and underwhelming to say the least. This is the cheapest one in our line up and is frankly the best. The rooms spacious, clean, the town is cozy and welcoming, the food is great and the service outstanding. We are currently in our 4th one in Palo Also (review coming soon) which is the MOST expensive one and we are already off to a bad start. Hilton you need to do better.
Great hotel, location and staff. I had an issue with my vouchers that I won at a Make A Wish event that expired but when I booked it with a Hilton customer service rep she assured me if I booked it before the date they would be fine. When we got to the hotel we were informed that is not the case. I was having trouble calling the Hilton customer service dept. so the manager Yadi (not sure of the spelling) helped me by calling them and explained my situation so when I talked to the rep they apologized for my inconvenience but couldn’t do anything about which I thought was BS.
