The Hadsten Solvang, Tapestry Collection by Hilton offers a memorable experience with recently renovated rooms that are clean and quiet. Each room includes robes, adding a nice touch to the stay. Located at one end of the main strip in Solvang, the hotel allows for easy exploration of nearby restaurants and wine tasting. The restaurant serves good food and features a wonderful outdoor patio where guests can enjoy meals in a pleasant setting. The bar and restaurant area provides a great atmosphere and tasty eats, with friendly staff delivering excellent service. Guests have noted the helpfulness of the staff, who offer local tips and suggestions for food and wine pairings. The outdoor fire pit area, with its cozy vibe and adjacent grape vines, enhances the overall experience. The hotel also includes a gym that is often empty, featuring Peloton bikes and dumbbells up to 75lbs, perfect for a workout. The design of the lobby and common areas has been redesigned into a welcoming hub, and the ambiance is noted as beautiful. Overall, The Hadsten Solvang serves as a great base for visiting Solvang, offering comfortable rooms, good food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We actually came to this place before Hilton bought it and updated it. They did a great job in updating and modernizing it. It was charming then, now it's Hilton level charming. While it's a bit sad that the kids don't have the indoor pool to enjoy; they covered it up and converted it into a fun outdoor lounge space. We do love the new way they have utilized the space; a bar with nice areas to lounge and play. Chris who checked me in was friendly and approachable. Great person to be placed in the front to greet guests. Our room was clean and well maintained. The grounds and the whole place are well kept. Overall, we have always loved staying at the Hadsten when we're in Solvang. Its on the outskirts of the town but walking distance enough to shops and restaurants. We love walk from our room, down to Sanger's have some flights of wine and then head over to our dinner. Hadsten has been our family's go to place to stay in Solvang and we look forward to many more.
In short, cozy hotel with Hilton benefits at the end of the main road, walking distance to everything. We came to Solvang the first weekend of December to enjoy all of the Christmas festivities. We wanted to stay somewhere central that was walking distance to everything in the town. To this end, the Hadsten Solvang worked out great. The hotel is on one side of the town, but you can walk directly across to the other side and back with no problem. I had no trouble finding parking here, and check-in was easy. I am a member of the Hilton honors club, so I was able to do everything, from booking the room, checking in and out all through the app. The hotel itself was nice and cozy. The grounds were clean, as was the room that we checked into. My king bedroom was roomie and everything seemed new and up-to-date. The bathroom was nice, the bed was soft, and they included, complementary waters, and wine that you could purchase as well. The place was great, and I had no complaints, and if/when I return to solving, I will definitely consider this place again.
Room was clean and bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The AC unit is in the bathroom, so you have to remember to shut it off before your shower or you'll freeze your arse off. The major letdown was the hotel cafe. The pancakes and coffee tasted off. The staff were excellent, they apologized and comped the food so I would stay there again just not have breakfast
