I had a slight issues and was a bit disappointed but the owner really stepped up and showed her appreciation for my business and corrected the issue. That sort of customer service is detrimental for repeat business which i will be giving them from this point on.

Ive been going to them for a few years now and I recently brought in a coupon at pick up and the lady at Solana Beach was so unkind and rude and disrespectful about the coupon needing to be brought in at drop off. She had a horrible attitude with me. Not once did she try to express understanding for my point of view or show any compassion. Very disappointed in the customer service. Was shocked at how unprofessional she was treating me. They lost a customer out of me. Won't be returning as a result.

Sadly, this place changed. You can't depend on the many 5-star reviews from a few years ago--it's a different place now. I was a loyal customer for almost a decade and quite happy with the service and the folks who worked here. But in my last visit the manager actually dared me to Yelp about my experience, so here goes . . . Their prices have been going up for a while. That's fair--everything's been getting more expensive and they lost a lot of business during Covid. So they've raised their prices to make up for it. I never complained. But when I just picked up a small order of 3 laundered shirts, I was surprised that it was so expensive. It turns out that one of my shirts had an additional charge for "extra handling." I didn't ask for anything special and they've laundered this same shirt for the regular price (around $3) many times in the past, so I asked why the extra charge this time? The woman who's always there told me it was a special shirt, although she couldn't explain why and it's never been special before. I think I paid around $25 for it--so not so special! I asked if she could just charge me the usual price and she started yelling at me and threatened to hold my clothes hostage unless I paid up. This is after almost 10 years as a regular customer! I had to get change at Sprouts next door to pay her the exact amount I should owe, which was a huge waste of time. I told her I'm not a big poster on Yelp but I thought others should know about this. She told me she'd trash me (I'm not sure how, but I guess I'll find out?) and dared me to tell this tale. So . . . Anyway, I still give the place 2 stars because the shirts did come out fine, even if all the drama was totally unnecessary.
